As you might expect, lighter nuts with softer flesh take less time to roast. This includes varieties like pecans, pistachios, cashews, and walnuts. On average, these varieties of nuts take seven to nine minutes to roast at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Dense nuts such as almonds, hazelnuts, and macadamias take eight to 10 minutes to roast at the same temperature.
